Plant and tool hire

If you are a new customer just call into our hire shop in Newry or Warrenpoint with photographic ID and 2 recent utility bills bearing the same address. Once your hire account is opened you no longer need to go through this process.

Can I open a trade account?

If you wish to open a trade hire account with us you will need to provide us with photographic ID as well as 2 utility bills if you are opening the account as an individual. If you wish to open an account as a company we will need written consent from an authorised person, as well as full company details. When opening trade hire accounts we may need to ask for 3 trade references.

What if I damage the machine or the machine is stolen?

Once the machine leaves our premises the responsibility for that machine passes onto the hirer. This means the hirer is liable for any stolen or damaged machines. Any damage caused while on hire will be charged to the hirer. Likewise, any lost or stolen equipment will be charged to the hirer. We recommend the hirer get adequate insurance cover in case of accidents or theft.

Will anyone show me how to operate a machine I hire?

Yes, we provide full instructions on the safe use and operation of all of our machinery for hire. We also provide the hirer with any PPE they may need in order to keep them safe whilst using our machines.

I need the machine for longer than I thought, can I keep it longer?

In most cases this is not a problem, simply call the hire depot and explain the situation to the counter staff. In a few cases the machine might be pre-booked, if this is the case will try to find an alternative.
